This is vintage mould pressed crystal from around the early 1900s. Once used as a toothpick holder, it can be repurposed as a stunning, light-catching sphere stand. This glass is beautiful when stood upright, but I have also found that it looks lovely upside down with a smaller sphere sitting within the crater of the bottom. Displaying your crystals or jewellery should not be boring. 


This has an obvious seam down the side of it which shows that it is pressed and not cut. It has a very slight ring sound when tapped which is typical of lower quality crystal and slightly refracts light.

 

This stands at 6.2cm tall, 4.3cm wide at the bottom & 4.8cm wide at the top. 

You can of course use this to hang earrings on, fill with a bag of crystal chips or use it for any other purpose really, such as a miniature vase for small cut flowers. The choice is yours.
